Budapest, the capital of the Hungarian Republic, lies in the centre of the Carpathian Basin in Europe, on both sides of the river Danube. It has an area of 525 sq km. Its population of about 20 million is 20% of the country’s total. Due to a fault line shaping the course of the Danube valley, a great number of thermal springs came to the surface at Budapest. Depart for Airport |

Departing your local area, you are transferred to the Airport by coach for your flight to Budapest (approx 3.30 hr flight). On arrival in Budapest, you will have a guide to meet and greet you then you are taken to our chosen hotel where you will spend the next three nights B&B. Time to check in. |

After breakfast our English speaking guide will meet us at the hotel with the coach, to take us on a full day’s tour of the city of Budapest and the house of Parliament. This evening there is a wonderful restaurant in the hotel for your evening meal or you may like to try the many restaurants there are around the hotel. |

Budapest is said to be the only real Danube capital as the river flows right through the middle of the city. The bridges, the Parliament building and the Royal Palace give Budapest an unparalleled atmosphere. We would like to invite you to enjoy the river views during a day time or an evening cruise combined with a delicious lunch or dinner. After the meal you can also admire the panorama from the open upper deck of the ship. This would be a private boat charter just for our group. (Duration 1.30hrs approx £25) to be paid to your guide.

| This morning is free to do last minute shopping, exploring or to even relax, before we are taken to the airport for your return flight to England. You will re-board your transfer coach which will return you back to your pick up point. |
